I built this tool to help me plot memories. I’m a visual thinker, and I tend to remember things the way they’re shown here: plotted on a map. I originally made it to create a printed atlas as a wedding gift for Cara, filled with all the places we’ve been and the little stories behind them. It’s also helped me hold onto memories of my brother, who died by suicide last year. Marking the places we shared — where we laughed, wandered, or just spent time — has been a small way to keep him close. It started as something just for me, but if you can use it too, please do.
